Age of the vines: 40 years old in average

Cultivation of the vineyard: Organic vine-growing as to respect the environment and obtain the best organoleptic grapes’ quality. The vines grow on a trellising and on partly grass-covered ground.

Wine-making and maturing : Traditional pelicular maceration. Fermentation in stainless steel heat-regulated tanks. Maturing also in stainless steel tanks for at least a year. Tartaric stabilisation in cold room.

Wine tasting: Very pretty velvety garnet colour, with a profound nose of red berries. Hearty start with great harmony and some delicate but present structure to this wine. 

Best served with: Deli meats, red meat from the grill. Hard cheese or cheese with rinds.

Ideally at about 15 to 16°C (59-60°F)

Aging potential: 5 to 6 years
